Make your own Pearl Jewellery

All of our pearls can be purchased loose and undrilled. If you are thinking of investing in loose pearls it is best to buy large (11mm+) round gem grade pearls as these are flawless and unlikely to ever lose their value because of their rarity.

Why not DIY (Design It Yourself) your own pearl jewellery!

At our Pearl Studio in Mornington you are able to combine a Tahitian, South Sea or Freshwater pearl with a loose pendant, earrings or ring finding from our wide selection of 9, 14 and 18 carat gold or sterling silver settings. Your jewellery creation will be assembled free of charge while you wait or we will post or deliver to you at no cost within 5 days.

Alternatively you can consult the Price Chart for each pearl category (except NZ blue pearls) Tahitian, South Seas, or Freshwater Pearls and email us (gumbirra@bigpond.com) with a description of the size of pearl you want, grade, colour and shape. We can then send you photos of various suitable findings to choose from once you specify the colour and type of gold or sterling silver you require.

You can now work out how much your pearl jewellery will cost you:

i.e. Price of pearl + Price of finding + Manufacture (no charge) + free postage

Once we receive payment from you, Tiare will drill and assemble your pearl and finding free of charge and post to you within five working days.
(NB: Most pearl findings are not suitable for NZ Blue Pearls as they are a half pearl and their setting needs a separate design. Talk to us about how you would like your NZ pearls set and we will discuss price and design with you individually).

Similarly, although we will try our best to match the colour and shape of the pearl to what you have requested, we may still not get it exactly as you envisaged it. Tiare is happy to email photos of a selection of loose pearls in the size, colour and shape you request so that you can first see the pearl you want to buy before commiting yourself to it. Please remember Tiare has a 30 day money-back guarantee if for any reason you are not happy with your purchase (see Guarantee).
